CELL DEVELOPMENT
Our expertise in product engineering and manufacturing engineering, coupled with our state-of-the-art equipment, ensures we can manufacture high quality products for all of our customers. We have extensive understanding in product engineering of cell design, materials, electrochemistry, mechanical and electrical; and in manufacturing engineering, across electrode, cell, module, and pack manufacturing.
Electrode
Our electrode manufacturing capability incorporates mixing, coating and drying, calendering & slitting.
Mixing:
- ISO8 clean room
- Segregated anode and cathode
- Option to mix cathode under inert atmosphere
- -70°C humidity
- 2 x intensive mixers
- Batch size: 150 -220 litres
- Solvents:
- Anode: de-ionised water
- Cathode: n-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP)
Coating & Drying:

- Cathode rewind only: dew point = -40°C
