Gigafactories are popping up across Europe, the UK and America, as battery and car manufacturers attempt to compete with China as the leading EV battery producer.
The need for future proof supplies is driving car manufacturers to secure long-term contracts with cell manufacturers so that they have direct control over their inventory. These high volume manufacturing plants will become vital for business infrastructure and future economies, helping to reduce the reliance on imports from Asia. - What benefits will new gigafactory locations bear on the wider auto ecosystem?
- Are gigafactories leading to a surge in investment in high volume manufacturing?
- How do you keep up with emerging technology in an industry that is constantly evolving
